We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and lead our marketing efforts. They will be responsible for strategically driving business growth by identifying opportunities, establishing key partnerships with Islamic organisations, influencers, and stakeholders, and implementing effective client acquisition and revenue generation strategies. This role involves active engagement with the Muslim community, overseeing public relations efforts, and contributing to content and campaign management. The Business Development Manager plays a vital role in shaping the app's direction by providing insights for product development and analyzing metrics for continuous optimization. Excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the tech, matrimonial, or Muslim community space.
• Understanding of the industry, market trends, competitors, and overall business environment.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business Communications, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting proposals, negotiating deals, and interacting with internal and external parties.
• Capability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and assess the financial implications of business decisions.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for business growth. Aptitude for working collaboratively with other teams, such as marketing and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth for the Muslim matrimonial app, aligning with organisational objectives.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in the Muslim matchmaking industry.
• Identify and establish partnerships with key stakeholders, including Islamic organisations, influencers, and other relevant entities aligning with the app’s mission.
• Lead efforts to acquire new users for the matrimonial app by devising and executing effective client acquisition strategies.
• Oversee individual marketing campaigns, tailoring content to resonate with the Muslim community, and utilising both organic and paid content strategies.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team environment, working closely with marketing, design, and other teams to produce outstanding media kits and coordinated campaigns.
