Job Description
OnePath Network, a leading non-profit media organisation, is seeking a highly motivated E-Commerce Manager. The ideal candidate is a highly organised and innovative e-commerce professional with extensive experience in managing product lifecycles, Shopify platforms, promotional marketing, and logistics, who is passionate about driving growth and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Location: Sydney, Australia
Key Responsibilities
1. Merchandise Management
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from sourcing and designing new products to managing inventory levels.
Collaborate with designers and merchandise suppliers to create new product designs and negotiate favourable terms.
Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and managing invoices.
2. E-Commerce Platform Management (Shopify)
Manage and update the Shopify store, ensuring the website is optimised for performance, user experience, and product availability.
Regularly update inventory, product descriptions, and pricing to reflect stock levels.
Coordinate fulfilment processes, ensuring orders are processed, packaged, and ready for courier pick-up on time.
3. Promotional Marketing
Develop and execute promotional campaigns, including emails, website banners, social media graphics, and reels.
Organise and manage photoshoots for new product launches.
Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling content that drives traffic and increases sales.
4. Logistics and Inventory Management
Implement and maintain live inventory systems that sync stock levels with Shopify.
Ensure a smooth logistics workflow, managing stock from suppliers to the studio and coordinating with couriers for timely deliveries.
Monitor and optimise warehouse operations to ensure efficiency.
5. Customer Relations
Manage customer communications, including responding to queries, handling refunds, and resolving issues related to damaged items or delayed deliveries.
Maintain excellent customer service standards to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
6. Financial Management
Track costs, sales, and profit margins for all e-commerce operations.
Present financial performance and campaign evaluations to senior management, providing insights into product performance and profitability.
Approve budgets for merchandise, promotional activities, and operational expenses.
7. Team Collaboration and Leadership
Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and logistics to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on e-commerce goals.
Lead the team in curating the best products for the store and approving designs and promotional materials.
Key Skills and QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 5 years in e-commerce management, preferably in the product and merchandising space.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Shopify management, digital marketing tools, and inventory systems.
Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of promotional marketing strategies across various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and website management.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse e-commerce performance data, track costs and profits, and provide actionable insights.
Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage customer relations and resolve issues efficiently.
Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
