Electromechanical Technician

The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, along with excellent troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure systems function efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical systems and equipment, such as motors, generators, pumps, and HVAC systems.

• Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.

• Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electromechanical systems. Repair or replace faulty components as needed.

• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.

• Collaboration: Work with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions for complex technical issues.

• Documentation: Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work performed.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with advancements in electromechanical technology and attend training sessions as required.

• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

• Adherence to Policies: Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Preferred Candidate:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Diploma or certification in electromechanical engineering or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
