Job Description
Create and drive recommendations to executive leadership on Consumer pricing strategies, portfolio vision and communicate pricing strategy, structure, policies and processes to organization.
Contribute in developing competitive pricing structures and define prices for all consumer voice & data products & value propositions to achieve target revenue and profit margins
Analyze reports/data, competition and market trends to identify gaps and develop pricing options/proposals.
Assist in administering the implementation of the Pricing strategy in Consumer Unit by enforcing pricing principles and guidelines.
Monitors pricing developments, competitive moves and market trends, in order to proactively adjust the prices of products and maintain competitive edge. Prepare and update competition landscape for the management across various segments.
Liaise with Segment team to define the value propositions and roll out prices for consumer voice & data products. Review and refine ideas/CPs in line with the broader pricing objectives. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
Prepare Pre-launch feasibilities (Business Cases) for the proposals submitted by Segment team after getting required data from Business analysis and research teams. Business Case to be evaluated and approved from finance and presented to management after alignment.
Initiates research e.g. conjoint/focus groups, to assess the price perception, and performs competitive pricing analysis if required.
Monitors and assists in enhancing key performance indicators. Work closely with the analytics/planning teams and other cross functions in regards to Price/Product performance. Review post launch evaluations of various offers/promotions to gauge success and manage database for reference in order to have more effective price decisions in future.
Manage and deliver any special projects related for Pricing during the year.
