LEAMS Education, a group of British curriculum and CBSE schools in Dubai, is seeking an outstanding and experienced leader to join their team as the Head of Secondary.

As the Head of Secondary, you will play a key role in shaping the school's future, driving academic excellence, and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership as part of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Principal.

• Uphold the school's vision and mission, and lead the secondary wing to achieve its goals.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and all academic affairs of the secondary school.

• Possess a deep understanding of UK curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Level) and assessment standards.

• Contribute to school improvement plans and self-evaluations.

• Supervise instructional programs, evaluate lesson plans, and observe classes regularly.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of best practices in pedagogy.

• Implement and maintain effective discipline and attendance systems.

• Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards in all interactions.

• Foster a learning environment that promotes academic excellence and holistic student development.

• Develop innovative and engaging learning experiences that enhance the capabilities of staff and students.

• Align teaching, learning, and assessment practices with best practices to meet performance improvement goals.

• Integrate UAE culture into the school environment, adhering to national guidelines.

• Motivate and engage secondary school staff.

• Collaborate with the Curriculum and Assessment team to ensure up-to-date curriculum development and data analysis.

• Prepare for KHDA inspections and audits, liaising with relevant bodies.

• Provide leadership and performance management for secondary school staff.

• Maintain confidentiality and data privacy.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in education (preferred) (required).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior secondary school leadership role (Head/Deputy Head) (required).

• Proven track record in developing teachers' skills and implementing school improvement plans (required).

• Experience designing and delivering professional development programs, both online and in-person (required).

• Ability to measure the effectiveness of training programs (required).

• Strong commitment to inclusion (required).

• Experience with UAE's DSIB Inspection Frameworks (highly desirable).

• Excellent interpersonal and team building skills (required).

• Calm and solution-oriented approach in challenging situations (required).

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (required).

• Fluency in English (required).
