Head of ICT and Computer Science

LEAMS Education, a renowned group of British curriculum and CBSE schools in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of ICT and Computer Science. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for elevating the standards of ICT and Computer Science education by providing guidance and support to our dedicated team of teachers. You will play a pivotal role in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with British curriculum standards. Additionally, you will be involved in fostering the integration of information technology across various subjects and overseeing the timely documentation of curriculum mapping and lesson planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide guidance and support to ICT/CS teachers to enhance subject standards and teaching methods.

2. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement the infusion of information technology across the curriculum.

3. Conduct lesson observations, CPDs, and team teaching sessions to improve teaching strategies and daily lesson plans.

4. Ensure timely and proficient documentation of curriculum mapping and lesson planning.

5. Deliver inspiring lessons that motivate students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.

6. Manage report cards and assessment schemes in accordance with British curriculum and KHDA standards.

7. Assist in interpreting external and internal exam results to improve academic performance.

8. Coordinate with the Assessment Head to provide appropriate data for result analysis and to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master's/Bachelor's Degree in ICT/Computer Science with B.Ed.

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a leadership role, in the UAE.

• Extensive experience in educational technology and ICT.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with DSIB Inspection frameworks is preferred.
