Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard software.

  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure schedules reflect realistic timelines and milestones.

Resource Management:

  • Identify and allocate resources required for project completion, including labor, materials, and equipment.

  • Monitor resource utilization and propose adjustments as necessary to maintain project efficiency.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track project progress against the baseline schedule and prepare regular status reports.

  • Identify potential delays and provide mitigation strategies to ensure timely project completion.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure all parties are aligned with the project schedule.

  • Conduct regular meetings to discuss project status, schedule updates, and critical issues.

Risk Management:

  • Identify scheduling risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential impacts on project timelines.

  • Ensure proactive measures are taken to address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure project schedules comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into project planning processes.

Software Proficiency:

  • Utilize planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to create and manage project schedules.

  • Analyze and present schedule data using advanced software tools and techniques.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning within the construction consultancy sector.

  • Recent experience in Abu Dhabi is mandatory.

  • Proven expertise in planning and scheduling utilities and infrastructure projects.

  • Strong understanding of UAE construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
