Job Description
Your new role, what's involved?
Develop and implement field traffic management plans, including detour routes, traffic control measures, and signage, to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow during construction activities.
Conduct site assessments and traffic impact assessments to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities related to traffic management.
Coordinate with project teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address traffic-related requirements and concerns.
Review and approve traffic management plans, drawings, and specifications prepared by contractors and subcontractors.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of traffic management measures during construction, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with traffic management plans and regulatory standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and field staff on traffic management and detour procedures.
Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals for temporary traffic control measures.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation on field traffic management activities and performance.
