The Opportunity:
We're seeking a talented Field Traffic and Detour Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth traffic flow during construction activities, contributing to the success of our infrastructure projects.
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement comprehensive traffic management plans, detours, signage, and control measures.
Conduct thorough site and traffic impact assessments to identify potential issues and opportunities.
Collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, contractors, and authorities to address traffic-related concerns.
Review and approve traffic management plans prepared by contractors and subcontractors.
Monitor and evaluate implemented measures, recommending adjustments as needed.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with plans and regulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and field staff.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals for temporary traffic control measures.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation on traffic management activities.
You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:
Minimum 12 years of experience in traffic engineering or civil engineering (consultancy sector), with a focus on site supervision for infrastructure projects.
Strong technical expertise in traffic management, detour planning, and temporary control measures.
In-depth knowledge of traffic engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
Experience with traffic management software (VISSIM, AutoTURN a plus).
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Professional licensure or certification in traffic engineering (advantageous).
Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East (a plus).
