Electrical Site Engineer

Your new role, what's involved?

1. Project Management:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop electrical project plans and schedules.

• Ensure that electrical project milestones are met on time and within budget.

• Monitor and report project progress to senior management.

2. Electrical System Design:

• Review and interpret electrical engineering drawings and specifications.

• Provide input into the design phase to optimize electrical systems.

• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and regulations.

3. Installation and Maintenance:

• Supervise the installation of electrical systems and equipment on-site.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and safety of electrical installations.

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

4. Team Leadership:

• Lead a team of electrical technicians and support staff.

• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members.

• Foster a culture of safety and professionalism within the team.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures for electrical work.

• Conduct quality inspections to identify and rectify any issues promptly.

6. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure that all electrical work is performed in compliance with safety regulations.

• Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses.

7. Budget Management:

• Manage the electrical project budget effectively, including cost estimation and control.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power generation projects.

• Experience with Combined Cycle Gas turbines

• Professional engineering license preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.

• Proven experience in project management and team leadership.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in relevant software and tools.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging construction environment.
