MEDICAL WRITER

Produces completes original research papers and scientific proposals using data and ideas from Medical, Research, and Clinical professionals to support publication submission.

Provides advanced editing and proofing services of all scientific contents, ethics, and data of publication draft produced by investigators.

Writs high quality literature reviews on diseases, treatments, or other topics relevant to specific projects as requested.

Analyses research data in collaboration with the Biostatics, Epidemiology, and Science Computing Department (BESC).

Works closely with clinicians and investigators in answering the reviewers’ comments.

Keeps up-to-date with relevant guidelines (e.g. CONSORT, ICMJE, GPP) and journal, conference, and/or granting agency requirements for financial disclosures or statements of competing interests.

Transforms Research data into public health knowledge for marketing and branding purposes.

Develops and executes advanced workshops, training courses and educational materials in medical writing, the process of publication submission, journal selection, citation analysis and other related topics.

Develops research marketing and promotional/educational materials for media publications.

Mentors and leads Medical Writers Assistants on complex projects, as necessary.

Detailed Description
PhD or Master’s Degree in Health Applied Sciences, Medical Sciences, or other related discipline is required.
Job Requirements
Four (4) years of related experiencewith PhD, or six (6) years with Master’s is required.
