Consultant, Nephrology

This is a job opening for a Consultant Nephrologist at a hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The consultant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, consultations, education, research, and administrative duties in the field of Nephrology.

Responsibilities

• Clinical:

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of kidney diseases.

  • Provide consultations to inpatients and the emergency room.

  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records.

  • Participate in on-call services.

  • Conduct morning rounds and manage patient discharges.

• Academic:

  • Train and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.

  • Participate in departmental educational activities and conferences.

  • Maintain professional knowledge and complete continuing education requirements.

• Research:

  • Participate in research projects to improve patient care and advance medical knowledge.

• Administrative:

  • Participate in departmental activities and committees.

  • Assist in developing and implementing efficient practices within the department.

  • Adhere to hospital and medical staff bylaws and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.

• Completion of residency training in Nephrology and/or subspecialty fellowship.

• Board certification in Nephrology (Arab or American) or equivalent fellowship from the UK or Canada.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Nephrology, with at least 7 years in the specific subspecialty (if applicable).
