Senior Lecturer, Chemistry

The Chemistry Department at Khalifa University is seeking a highly motivated Senior Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional undergraduate chemistry courses and fostering a dynamic learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective undergraduate chemistry lectures and tutorials in assigned subject areas.

• Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.

• Prepare comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and exams.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates and inspires students.

• Maintain a strong understanding of current advancements in chemistry and integrate them into course content.

• Adhere to Khalifa University's mission, policies, and procedures for instruction.

• Participate in departmental and university service activities (as applicable).

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant teaching experience in higher education (PhD holders will not be considered).

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in distinguished universities.

• A demonstrated passion for teaching and a strong commitment to student success.

• Ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective lectures and tutorials.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
