ResponsibilitiesProvide key technical expertise and input at different stages of multiple projects to ensure the highest technical quality of delivery within the specific discipline of Smart Cities.
Manage multi-discipline design teams working on infrastructure projects to ensure cost-effective, quality, and timely input.
Support Directors and other Managers in coordinating business development initiatives.
Manage external consultants to ensure cost-effective, quality, and timely input.
Monitor the technical quality of KEO Infra projects to ensure they meet the highest technical quality and engineering practice standards.
Develop and implement measures to mitigate project-related financial and business risks in partnership with Project Managers/Project Directors.
Analyze existing work processes, procedures, and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies, cost-effectiveness, and service improvements.
Prepare, plan, and monitor financial budgets and team resources to deliver required project outcomes.
Prepare design programs based on detailed work breakdown structures for projects.
Prepare cost and time-based progress reports for design projects.
Prepare and present project reports and presentations for internal and external clients.
Prepare technical proposals for submission to external parties.
Prepare cost estimates for infrastructure design projects.
Ensure the effective functioning of large/complex and/or multidisciplinary teams by promoting team cohesion and collaboration.
Seek constant improvement and application of the latest technology and tools in the technical workflow. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in infrastructure engineering, Artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and Information & Communication Technologies.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ICT/Network Engineering, or other Infrastructure or Smart Cities related majors.
At least 12 years of experience in design.
Registration at MICE or IEng MICE level is desirable. Full Membership of an Internationally recognized professional Institution (e.g., C. Eng. M.I.C.E. or P.E.). PMP Certification would be advantageous.
Excellent knowledge of design, production, construction techniques, procedures, industry codes, and standards.
Strong understanding of appropriate design software and awareness of project and program management software.
Proven record of leading Smart Cities projects and engagement of such solutions within infrastructure projects.
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design practices, networking, and ICT.
Familiarity with intelligent traffic systems, smart lighting systems, smart CCTV systems, networking, and communication protocols.
Ability to advise and develop strategies for communication networks, monitoring and control systems, advanced visualizations, analytics, and mobility.
