Freight Operations Specialist

Role Overview: DHL Global Forwarding Freight – Kuwait has an opening for a Freight Operations Specialist where you will be responsible for executing the efficient flow of materials and equipment from requisition through consumption. Join us now in connecting people and improving lives.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare shipping documents as per LC/customer requirements.

• Coordinate with the warehouse for daily loading.

• Follow up with shipping companies and monitor consignment movements.

• Follow up with the bank and customers and confirm error-free documents receipt.

• Plan, direct, control, coordinate, and evaluate logistics support functions.

• Coordinate information received and materials issued and received from various activities and sites concerning logistics operations.

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations within the theater of operations as assigned.

• Maintain appropriate records and inventory.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent.

• Four years’ experience in logistics.

• Experience in supply chain management and/or government property administration.

• Experience in a contingency logistics environment.
