The Project Coordinator will play a critical role, overseeing the delivery of cycling activities for women and girls in London.

The post-holder will need to have excellent planning, logistics and organisational skills as well as the ability to establish strong relationships and rapport with a wide range of individuals and organisations.

Below is a list of responsibilities which provide a broad outline of the role.   This is not an exhaustive list as Cycle Sisters is a small team which requires flexibility.    This will be a highly collaborative role, working with other team members including other Project Coordinators, Operations Lead and Communications & Media Lead, all of whom work on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop delivery plans in line with agreed project objectives and deliverables.

  2. Organise and coordinate events and activities such as led cycle rides, cycle lessons, volunteer training, bike maintenance courses and sportives.   This includes WhatsApp group management.

  3. Manage teams of volunteers to deliver group rides.  Work with the Operations Lead to facilitate the Volunteer Development Programme to ensure volunteers feel valued and supported.

  4. Build relationships with community groups and leaders; carry out outreach to promote projects and recruit women and girls to participate

  5. Build partnerships with councils and other relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

  6. Work with the Communications & Media Lead to identify stories and case studies from the projects, and support with developing content for social media, website etc.

  7. Collect monitoring data and learnings to be able to demonstrate impact in line with agreed M & E systems; produce reports for funders and partners as required

You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Please note that we are only able to accept applications from female applicants due to the nature of our organisation and cause including the fact that the successful candidate would be required to interact with, represent and work within women-only spaces.
