The Opportunity:

In this role, you'll play a key role in Cundall's MENA team, working on some of the most groundbreaking sustainable projects in KSA and beyond. You'll collaborate with a Principal Consultant, expanding your knowledge in sustainability and building physics. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, managing projects, teams, and client relationships.

What You'll Do:

• Sustainability Expertise:

  • Provide expert advice on building performance, operational energy optimization, certifications, and net-zero carbon strategies.

  • Conduct building physics modelling to optimize energy use and occupant comfort.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest sustainability trends and regional regulations.

• Project Management & Leadership:

  • Manage and deliver ESD (Environmental Sustainable Design) projects on time and within budget.

  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure project success.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work effectively with colleagues across various disciplines (engineering, architecture, etc.).

  • Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate complex sustainability concepts.

  • Contribute to business development efforts by expanding Cundall's sustainability portfolio in the region.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a built environment discipline (Master's preferred).

• 8-12 years of experience in ESD consulting within the built environment sector.

• LEED AP and Mostadam Professional accreditations (experience with other sustainability certifications a plus).

• Strong understanding of building physics, building performance modelling (IES-VE experience a plus), and relevant KSA industry codes.

• Experience leading projects, managing teams, and representing a company professionally to clients.

• Excellent communication, presentation, reporting, and time management skills.

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to achieving net-zero carbon goals.
