General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the design and implementation of electrical systems for various hospitality and commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with project teams to develop electrical design strategies that meet project requirements and client expectations.

• Conducting detailed feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate electrical systems requirements.

• Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for power distribution, lighting, and communication systems.

• Ensuring compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout the design and construction phases.

• Coordinating with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and vendors to facilitate seamless project execution and resolve technical issues.

• Performing site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify electrical installations meet design specifications and project milestones.

• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams as needed.

• Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in electrical engineering.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Approximately 8 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering roles, with a successful track record in delivering hospitality or commercial construction projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.

• Experience within a Project Management Consultancy or similar organization is advantageous.
