Job Description
The Planning Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily planning for local purchase orders to ensure smooth operations in the warehouse, production, franchise, café, and retail areas, aligning with lead times from suppliers.
Key Accountabilities:
Replenishment:
Prepare daily planning of items required for local purchase to maintain optimal stock levels while preventing stock overflow in the warehouse.
Update and maintain stock-keeping unit parameters in the ERP system for new or phased-out item codes to optimize data consolidation in the planning and purchasing process.
Assess forecasted finished goods provided by the line manager and plan orders to mitigate impacts on material stocks before production dates.
Follow up with the Purchasing Team for items at critical levels with pending supplier deliveries or open/under-approval purchase orders.
Coordinate with the purchasing team to evaluate stock volumes requested by other departments or excess quantities delivered by suppliers to maintain balanced stock levels.
Proactively monitor and adjust the stock level of items based on seasonal variations in consumption for efficient warehouse operations.
Skills
Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 3 years of planning experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in F&B.
Advanced user of Navision (ERP) system.
Advanced user of Excel with proficiency in formulas like VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, Pivot tables, and Graphs.
Excellent mathematical skills and numerical proficiency.
Ability to work within given schedules and timelines.
Proficiency in both verbal and written English.
Advanced user of PowerPoint for presentations.
Strong analytical skills and report-making abilities.
