Job Summary:

  • Inspire the Next Generation: Teach graduate courses in ecology and management of urban ecosystems, society and environment, environment and sustainable development, environmental economics, and urban environment systems.

  • Nurture Future Leaders: Supervise master's and doctoral theses in the areas of urban environment and sustainable development.

  • Breakthrough Research: Conduct innovative research that integrates themes and issues related to urban environments and sustainable development.

  • Knowledge Transfer: Develop and deliver training and workshop programs in urban planning and management of urban environments.

We Seek an Exceptional Candidate with:

  • A Ph.D. in Environmental Science from a reputable university, specializing in:

    • Urban Ecosystems

    • Environmental Risk Assessment

    • Human Settlements and Sustainable Cities

    • Urbanization and Sustainable Development (Social & Economic Aspects)

For an edge in the competition, you'll possess:

  • At least eight years of post-doctoral experience in one of the above specializations.

  • An impressive record of publications in international, peer-reviewed journals.

  • Solid experience teaching related subjects at the postgraduate level.

  • A proven track record of supervising master's and doctoral theses in your field.

  • Experience managing and implementing research projects.

  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
