Job Description

  • Facilitate the development of the PSM roadmap and its implementation strategy.

  • Ensure alignment of the whole organization in relation to PSM concepts.

  • Expedite the first phase of PSM implementation and explore concepts and tools together.

  • Provide technical expertise for PSM tools review.

  • Develop competency in PSM through an aligned approach.

  • Train area representatives and the HSE team as PSM specialists to strengthen internal capability.

  • Develop and define Performance Indicators (PIs) for PSM monitoring and governance.

  • Conduct PSM training for Aluminum Plant leaders and selected employees.

  • Design a process and develop a procedure for the management of Process Safety Information.

  • Develop Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) procedure and execute PHA based on risk prioritization.

  • Align existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) with recommendations from HAZID and HAZOP review.

  • Develop Pre-Start Safety Review procedure.

  • Review and align Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) list with PSM concepts.

  • Revise Management of Change (MOC) procedure to comply with PSM standards.

  • Address opportunities identified during third-party audits.

  • Assist in the development of leading and lagging PSM indicators for performance measurement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, PSM/RMP Specialist) preferred.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Process Safety Management, with a focus on the Aluminium industry and Power Plant operations.

  • In-depth knowledge of PSM principles, regulations (e.g., OSHA 1910.119), and industry best practices.
