Job Description
The ideal candidate shall have a proven track record of leadership in the steel industry, with a strong focus on driving operational excellence, maximizing efficiency, and achieving business objectives.
➢ Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, increase market share, and achieve financial targets including identifying emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential threats to the business, and develop proactive strategies to address them,
➢ Collaborate with all department heads and board of directors to set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization, and monitor progress towards achieving them,
➢ Oversee all aspects of production operations, including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and quality control,
➢ Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across all departments.
➢ Provide strong leadership to the department heads and inspire a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement,
➢ Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements, and drive initiatives to improve operational safety and sustainability.
➢ Oversee development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance targets in collaboration with the finance team, and monitor financial performance against these targets.
➢ Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements, and implement strategies to achieve them.
➢ Review financial reports, analyze variances, and take corrective actions as needed to ensure profitability and financial health.
➢ Work closely with the sales teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies, pricing policies, and customer acquisition plans.
➢ Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry partners, and proactively address any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
➢ Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product innovation and market differentiation.
➢ Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the Company, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support their professional growth and career advancement.
➢ Promote a positive work environment that values diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement, and address any employee relations issues or conflicts in a timely and effective manner,
➢ Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to manufacturing, environmental protection, health and safety, and labor practices.
➢ Identify and assess potential risks to the business, including operational, financial, legal, and reputational risks, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
➢ Implement robust internal controls, risk management processes, and business continuity plans to safeguard the company's assets and interests.
