Job Description

Responsibilities

  • System Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the JDE EnterpriseOne system.

  • Technical Expertise: Manage the technical aspects of the JDE system to ensure peak performance, stability, and security.

  • Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot system issues, perform backups and archiving, and provide exceptional service and support to end users.

  • User Management: Create, modify, and delete user accounts according to JDE user account specifications.

  • System Efficiency: Participate in testing system administration procedures to ensure timely and comprehensive restoration in case of issues.

  • JDE Version Upgrades: Perform JDE version upgrades efficiently and effectively.

  • Innovation & Automation: Research and recommend innovative solutions, including automation possibilities, to streamline system administration tasks.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards and JDE/CNC administration.

  • Database Management: Strong understanding of database management principles, including SQL and Oracle.

  • Server Management: Proficiency in server management, including Windows Server 2016 and later versions.

  • Operating Systems: Experience with Oracle Linux.

  • Virtualization Knowledge: Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.

  • Hardware Expertise: Solid understanding of hardware components, including servers and storage.
