The Opportunity

In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the financial accuracy and well-being of our bureaus and hubs. You'll be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including monthly and annual closing activities, expense reimbursements, budgeting, and financial compliance. Your strong accounting skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Closing:

  • Complete monthly and yearly closing activities, adhering to established deadlines and procedures.

  • Prepare monthly expense reimbursements for assigned bureaus, ensuring adequate cash flow.

  • Manage Hubs budget payments in accordance with financial policies.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Review and process purchase requisitions, goods received notes, and down payment requests.

  • Reconcile bank and cash accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial procedures.

  • Process vendor invoices efficiently and accurately, upholding compliance with company policies and local regulations.

• Financial Compliance:

  • Ensure bureaus comply with local tax laws and regulations.

  • File all required tax returns, declarations, and statements on a timely basis.

  • Identify and address any non-compliance issues within assigned bureaus.

• Financial Systems and Processes:

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with accounting standards and internal procedures.

  • Provide guidance and support to bureau and hub administrative staff on financial and tax matters.

  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial professionals.

• Additional Duties:

  • Review supporting documents for assigned bureaus and report any discrepancies.

  • Organize and maintain a filing system for financial and administrative documents.

  • Assist bureau and hub staff in understanding financial policies and procedures.

  • Prepare and liaise with auditors for annual financial statement audits (if applicable).

  • Collaborate with tax consultants for corporate tax filings and transfer pricing submissions.

  • Collect information and prepare reports as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required).

• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience (required).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement).

• Knowledge of financial contracts, audit techniques, accounts payable processes, financial control cycles, Letters of Guarantee (LGs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and financial reporting procedures.

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
