The role will provide active technical support for all project requirements and submittals during tendering as well as project execution phase. It will also address documentation requirements technical in nature by working closely with the sales and operations team.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Responsible for the preparation of project Method Statements in line with scope of works, commercial proposal, specifications, standards and guidelines.

• Responsible for the preparation of project drawings (Working plans to details) complying with project design , specifications and guidelines as follows:

• System Layout

• System Cross Sections

• System Details

• Electrical Layout

• Hydraulic Layout

• Construction Drawings

• Discharge layouts for NOC applications

• Assist the bid process by identification of scope of works and generation of BOQ measurement items from Client drawings and design concepts

• Keep abreast with the recent product developments and ensure the technical solution and support provided is in line with the changes and does compliment any enhancements while fulfilling the business needs

• Investigate alternative methods of fulfilling technical requirements in a cost effective manner.

• Formulate a comprehensive business plan to bring about changes that will minimize overall project cost for the technical support provided.

• Ensure all technical support requirements are accurately logged in the CRM system on a daily basis.

• Maintain an accurately update all project locations for the regional business activities.

• Coordinate simultaneous projects and manage efficient documentation control procedures.

• Proactively update stakeholders on current technical support status, task progression, issues and potential delays.

• Ensure work is to be completed in line with ACTION’s policies and procedures in a timely professional manner.

• Generate adhoc AutoCAD drawings as requested by the Line Manager.

• Maintain good working relationship with all parties at all levels at all times when representing the Company.

QHSE

• Make a deliberate effort to gain a full understanding and working knowledge of the Company’s QHSE Policies and Procedures.

Cross Functional Support/Training

• Works closely with internal project stakeholders assigned to resolve any project risks associated with contracts, documentation & execution.

• Identify & address problems and opportunities; brings those which are appropriate to the Line Manager; and, facilitates discussion & deliberation.

Qualification Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized University.

• Generally 4+ years of related work experience in a similar industry and role.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment.

• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

• Strong IT skills

• Keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making.

• Excellent team skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively across variety of internal and external stakeholders;

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
