Job Description:
As a Senior BIM Lighting Design Specialist at WSP, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for lighting design elements within multidisciplinary projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the BIM scope delivery and ensuring seamless integration of lighting design solutions into project deliverables.

• Collaborating with architects, developers, and portfolio managers to integrate lighting design considerations into project planning and development.

• Coordinating the deployment of specialized lighting design solutions tailored to project requirements.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in lighting design aspects.

• Conducting capability assessments of supply chain partners for project involvement.

• Negotiating lighting design BIM scope with clients and supporting project scoping.

• Implementing and administering BIM systems and solutions within projects.

• Enforcing adherence to open BIM standards and international standards across lighting design.

• Proactively identifying and mitigating opportunities and risks related to lighting design.

• Providing structured reporting to project management teams and client representatives.

• Supporting learning and development initiatives within the project supply chain.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM scope management on large-scale building projects, with a specialization in lighting design.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and BIM360.

• Knowledge of additional tools such as Solibri, BIM Track, and Revizto.

• Familiarity with Dynamo scripting tools and relevant standards such as BS 8536 and ISO 19650 series.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.
