Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to analyze, identify, rectify, and recommend specific improvement measures to enhance the organization's security posture and protect sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
Ensure Customer Centricity:
Provide appropriate cybersecurity solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
Monitor and safeguard log sources and security access.
Plan for disaster recovery in case of security breaches.
Monitor for attacks, intrusions, and unauthorized activity.
Incident Handling and Analysis:
Perform complex log reviews and forensic analysis to identify unauthorized access.
Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and root cause analysis of security incidents.
Handle escalated incidents in 24x7 rotational shifts.
Utilize advanced analytics tools to detect emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
Analyze attacks and provide remedial attack analysis.
Conduct detailed analysis of incidents and create reports and dashboards.
Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance:
Liaise with stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues and provide recommendations.
Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits.
Assist in creating, maintaining, and delivering cybersecurity awareness training.
Provide guidance to employees on issues such as spam and malicious emails.
Stakeholder Interaction:
Internal: Regular reporting and updates to Technical Lead/Project Lead. Coordination with Security Intelligence team.
External: Coordination with customers regarding security breaches and resolutions.
Deliverables:
Customer Centricity: Timely resolution of security breaches to enhance end-user, internal stakeholder, and external customer experience.
Process Adherence: Adherence to SLAs (90-95%), response time, and resolution time TAT.
Required Skills:
Leveraging Technology: Expertise in utilizing current and upcoming technology to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness.
Process Excellence: Ability to follow standards and norms consistently to produce consistent results and reduce risk.
Functional/Technical: Mastery in Network Security devices, firewalls, endpoints, SIEM, application security, IPS/IDS, VA/PT skills.
