Job Description
We're seeking a passionate Visual Merchandiser to join our team and play a pivotal role in crafting an engaging and visually appealing online experience for event discovery.
In this remote role, you'll be responsible for:
Designing stunning visuals: Develop eye-catching product pages, landing pages, banners, and promotional graphics that capture user attention and elevate the overall experience.
Optimizing product displays: Organize and categorize events and experiences in a user-friendly way. Regularly update displays to reflect new offerings, promotions, and trends. Maximize user engagement and conversions through strategic layout and presentation.
Content management expertise: Collaborate with marketing to create and schedule promotional content. Maintain an up-to-date content calendar and ensure timely updates of visuals. Utilize CMS platforms to upload and manage digital assets effectively.
User experience champion: Conduct A/B testing to identify the most effective visual elements and layouts. Analyze user behavior and feedback to continuously improve user experience on both website and app. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to guarantee a seamless user journey.
Data-driven decision making: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to visual merchandising. Leverage data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of your strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration is key! Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, product management, customer service) to ensure visual merchandising efforts align with overall business goals. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of our online platforms.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in online visual merchandising, ideally within the event or e-commerce industry.
Mastery of graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
A strong grasp of web design principles and user experience best practices.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.
Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
