Warehouse Supervisor

Principal Accountabilities

Effective Supervision & Leadership:

• Lead and supervise warehouse staff to ensure the team adheres to the set SOP’s, company policies in day-to-day functioning resulting in seamless operations.

• Provide guidance and direction to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and according to established procedures

  Inventory Management:

• Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to plan inventory replenishment and prevent stock outs or overstock situations.

• Safety Compliance: Assist in maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment to Ensure adherence to safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and address any potential hazards promptly.

  Operational Excellence:

• Ensure that all operations are carried out as per SET SOP’s including offloading, loading and storing.

  Equipment Maintenance:

• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor systems, are properly maintained and in good working condition to avoid any incidents.

• Generate reports: Assist in analyzing warehouse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

• Generate reports and provide insights to aid decision-making.

  Fleet Management:

• Manage all aspects of the fleet, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, repairs, and disposal.

• Ensure that vehicles are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations.

  Effective Coordination:

• Maintain effective communication with the Warehouse Manager, other department managers, and warehouse staff.

• Relay important information, updates, and concerns as needed.

  Quality Control:

• Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the accuracy of shipments and inventory.

• Address and resolve any issues related to product quality or damage.
