Duties and Responsibilities
Market Research: Conduct research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to assess potential business opportunities.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement business development strategies and plans to achieve sales and revenue goals.
Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, social media, and attending industry events.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling business proposals to prospective clients or partners.
Sales Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure new business deals.
Pipeline Management: Maintain and update a sales pipeline, tracking progress and forecasting future revenue.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and finance to align business development efforts with company goals.
Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Customer Feedback:
Gather and analyse customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and refine business development strategies.
