Analyst I, Planning Job

Summary: As an Analyst, Planning, you will play a pivotal role in production planning and dispatch activities, ensuring strong coordination with sales, marketing, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive sales orders and ensure timely delivery.

2. Prepare machine loading charts for different machines on a weekly/monthly basis.

3. Optimize machine capacity utilization with minimum wastage and idle time.

4. Provide necessary technical advice in response to queries from sales/marketing departments.

5. Address queries from pre-casting and related departments.

6. Forecast procurement of packing material based on order status.

7. Regularly visit the slitting section for firsthand information to facilitate effective follow-up.

8. Prepare reports for circulation to concerned departments.

9. Obtain feedback on previous day's planning execution.

10. Suggest changes/improvements to enhance system efficiency.

11. Undertake any other assigned tasks as needed.

12. Update order balance sheet regularly.

13. Maintain proper records of sales orders and amendments.

14. Plan grades and thickness changes on film lines.

15. Prepare production orders for film lines.

16. Plan and organize daily dispatch allocation to optimize capacity.

17. Allocate jobs for the next 48 hours to different machines for optimal capacity utilization.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Diploma degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with a bachelor's degree or minimum of 4 years with a Diploma degree in the same field.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Proficiency in data gathering, analysis, and reporting.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Fluency in English language with excellent communication (written & oral) skills.

• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
