Job Description
Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies
Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters
Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships
Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
Examine and test existing contracts
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Organization
Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
Skills
Computer skills are often an important part of the job as well, so managers should have knowledge of computer software programs and Internet-related applications.
Strong research, strategic analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, in Arabic and English is a must.
