Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair a fleet of vehicles used in telecom infrastructure projects, including vans, trucks, and specialized vehicles equipped with telecommunications equipment.

• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicle systems and components.

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as fluid changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments to ensure vehicle performance and reliability.

• Coordinate with field technicians and project managers to prioritize vehicle maintenance schedules and support project timelines.

• Document vehicle maintenance activities, including service records, repair logs, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.

• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies in all vehicle maintenance activities, including proper handling of hazardous materials and disposal procedures.

• Assist in the selection and procurement of new vehicles and equipment, including vehicle specifications and vendor negotiations.

• Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting vehicle maintenance in the telecom sector.

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology is advantageous.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a vehicle technician, preferably in the telecom or related industry.

• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and technical repair manuals.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with a focus on safety and quality.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external vendors.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
