Job Description

As a Customer Service Order Manager at Rotork, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers by managing orders from receipt to delivery. You will collaborate with various departments such as engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to ensure customer requirements are met effectively. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will prioritize and expedite orders through production release, resolve quality complaints, and manage order queries with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring customer requirements are met.

  2. Collaborate with engineering to prioritize and expedite orders through production release.

  3. Work with the Quality department to resolve customer quality complaints and manage issues proactively.

  4. Keep customers updated on order developments and manage expectations through resolution.

  5. Identify and resolve order queries, ensuring correct interpretation of customer requirements.

  6. Liaise with customers and internal departments regarding delivery or special requirements, using negotiation skills as needed.

  7. Conduct contract reviews of customer orders diligently and accurately.

  8. Utilize technical knowledge and experience in electric actuators contracts management.

  9. Maintain attention to detail and commitment to top-quality customer service.

Experience Requirements:

  • Degree or mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role (desirable).

  • Understanding of engineering drawings.

  • Commercial awareness and strong understanding of commercial jargon.

  • Background in Customer Service.

  • Knowledge of material pricing.

  • Detailed knowledge and experience in electric and pneumatic actuator products.

  • Understanding of revenue forecasting.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft AX.

  • Fluent in English.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Negotiation skills.

  • Experience in a manufacturing/engineering and contractual environment.

  • Good technical, mechanical, and electrical actuator knowledge.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal departments.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus.

  • Ability to multitask and execute tasks efficiently.

  • Proactive mindset in approaching challenges and finding solutions.

  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is a plus.
