Job Description
Key Result Areas:
Identify potential members and work closely with them to join the science park
Establish close business relations with member companies to retain them and ensure their commitment for growing in QSTP
Plan and host business engagement events, round tables, panels, and other business engagement activities to promote the park and its member companies
Establish and implement business partnerships and agreements with stakeholders to expand the science park's network and resources
Lead the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews to better understand challenges and opportunities for growth
Evaluate, analyze and interpret research findings to provide insights that drive business decisions and improve growth strategies
Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices in market research, and industry developments to inform research strategies and tactics to propose enhancements
Establish and manage the tax and ultimate beneficial owner compliance frameworks to monitor and evaluate member companies' compliance with legal requirements
Review and evaluate the financial data of member companies to monitor and assess their performance toward entry criteria and key performance metrics
Report findings and progress through presentations, reports, dashboards to feed into decision making process
Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field & 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience, 2 of which at a supervisory level
Broad knowledge of local and international tax frameworks
Excellent communication skills - experience explaining complicated issues to people and pursue them to collaborate
Ability to switch fast between tasks and projects, if necessary, self-organization skills, operate at a very high level; negotiate effectively; work to deadlines; maintain strong stakeholders' relationship
Familiarity with market research software and databases
Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports, presentations, and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic and English proficiency is mandatory
Proficiency in MS Office applications
