Job Description
The Site QA/QC Engineer will support the project team about various requirements about Ground Improvement and Piling. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating with clients and other stakeholders on various technicalities of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance : Follow quality control plans and procedures for construction projects; Monitor construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, regulations and quality standards.
Inspections : Conduct regular inspections of construction sites, materials, and completed work to identify any deviations or defects; Report to the Project Manager and report observations on non-conformances.
Documentation : Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests and compliance reports.
Problem Resolution : Identify issues, collaborate with construction teams to address deficiencies, and suggest corrective actions.
Testing and Analysis: Perform or oversee tests on material and structures to verify quality and integrity.
Communication: Liaise with contractors, engineers, architects, and regulatory agencies to communicate findings and ensure compliance.
Training: Provide guidance and training to construction teams regarding quality standards and best practices.
SkillsDegree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Ground improvement and piling projects.
Understanding of construction methods, materials codes. Familiarity with quality control processes, inspections techniques would be an added advantage.
Keen observation skills and attention to details to identity defects or deviations from standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders and document findings accurately.
Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Ground improvement and piling projects.
Understanding of construction methods, materials codes. Familiarity with quality control processes, inspections techniques would be an added advantage.
