Environmental Testing and Qualifications Technician

1- Test Setup and Execution:

• Prepare and configure environmental testing equipment and instrumentation according to test plans and protocols.

• Conduct environmental tests such as temperature, humidity, vibration, shock, and corrosion tests under the guidance of engineers.

• Monitor tests to ensure they are performed accurately and safely, making adjustments as needed.
  2- Data Collection and Documentation:

• Collect and record test data accurately and systematically.

• Maintain detailed logs and documentation of test procedures, conditions, and results.

• Assist in the preparation of test reports by compiling data and summarizing findings.
  3- Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform regular maintenance and calibration of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.

• Maintain inventory of testing supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order.
  4- Quality and Compliance:·

• Follow all relevant safety and quality protocols during testing procedures.·

• Ensure testing activities comply with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD, ISO, ASTM) and company policies.·

• Assist in internal and external audits related to environmental testing processes.
  5- Support and Collaboration:

• Work closely with engineers and other technicians to support the testing and qualification process.

• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving testing methods and procedures.

• Assist in training and mentoring new technicians.
