Job Title: Senior Subcontracts Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a complete understanding of Functional Procedures and Forms in the Departmental Quality Management system.

• Initiate digitalization processes and operate on company portals and platforms like SCMS (Subcontracts Construction Management system), Compliance & Financial Due diligence platforms, and the Company ERP system.

• Maintain a strong interface with other disciplines for all inputs required for Invitation to Bid (ITB) preparation and clarifications.

• Ensure compliance with the Company's Delegation of Authority Matrix.

• Oversee all activities during the Proposal stage to ensure competitive Construction cost estimates.

• Manage all Award stage activities to ensure Awards are within budgets.

• Administer post-award activities to ensure completion of subcontracts within final Forecast at completions.

• Provide leadership and hands-on engagement in subcontract administration, including Change management and Extension of Time claims.

• Monitor and track the validity of Bonds, Guarantees, and Insurances on projects.

• Engage in risk review processes at various stages of the subcontract life cycle and contribute based on experience.

• Ensure adherence to procedures and promote continuous improvement for the company’s best practices.

• Maintain focus on Company Quality Assurance and HSE requirements in Subcontracts Agreements.

• Support and take directions from senior subcontracts management as required.

Primary Duties:

• Activities related to deriving Proposal stage Construction Cost estimates.

• Activities related to Awarding Subcontract Agreements.

• General post-award administration activities related to works during project execution.

• Maintain records, logs, and registers for Variations, Site instructions, and Back charges.

• Track subcontractor performance evaluation and close-out reports.

• Interface with ERP and other platforms for invoicing and tracking.

• Prepare draft correspondence and provide support on contractual and commercial matters.

• Assist in handling subcontractors’ variation orders requests and claims.

• Provide assistance in risk assessment identification related to subcontractor’s works.

• Review subcontractor’s invoices and back-charges.

• Support with subcontract close-out activities.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• A graduate or Masters university degree in Engineering.

• Experience in the entire subcontract life cycle activities.

• Experience in administration and management of Contracts or Subcontracts.

• Relevant experience or Project Management of similar EPC jobs.
