Compass International School Doha, a well-established school in Qatar, is seeking a passionate and experienced Art Teacher to join their team!

Job Summary:
Provide leadership and guidance to Art students while fostering a stimulating learning environment.
Uphold high standards of teaching and learning in Art.
Actively contribute to the development of the Art department and the school as a whole.
Participate in extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience.
Ensure students reach their full potential through effective teaching and assessment strategies.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-organized Art lessons using effective planning and teaching methods.
Develop and review the school's Art curriculum and schemes of work.
Implement the school's assessment, recording, and reporting procedures.
Integrate Qatari culture and promote national identity within the curriculum.
Share best practices with colleagues within and beyond the Art department.
Organize and lead a variety of Art enrichment activities during and after school hours.
Utilize student tracking and monitoring tools to inform teaching practices and student progress.
Continuously develop professionally to stay current in the field of Art education.
Effectively communicate the school's vision and act as an ambassador for Compass International School Doha.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts or Education degree with a specialization in Art (required).
Master's degree in a relevant field (desirable).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (required).
Experience teaching within international schools (desirable).
Proven experience and at least two years of teaching experience (desirable).
In-depth knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Art (required).
Experience teaching Art at GCSE or equivalent level (required).
Experience teaching Art at post-16 level (required).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (required).
