Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Homeroom Teacher to join our team in Hofof, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong desire to make a positive impact on students' lives. As a Primary Homeroom Teacher, you will be teaching English language, maths, science, and social science. Our primary teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote active learning

  2. Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

  3. Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing feedback

  4. Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's academic and social development

  5. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives

  6. Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  7. Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school events as required

  8. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other communication with parents

  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and techniques

  10. Take an active part in the whole school pastoral and character development program

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

  2. Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting

  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  4. Excellent knowledge of the use and application of technologies

  5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

  6. Knowledge of the British (Cambridge) curriculum is a plus

  7. Ability to adapt to a multicultural and diverse environment

  8. Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young learners

  9. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
