Our client: Our esteemed client, a leading provider of lighting solutions, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Dubai. With a strong focus on innovation and quality, our client offers a dynamic work environment and an opportunity to contribute to the growth of their presence in the Middle East market.
The Role: As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's lighting products, systems, and solutions to a diverse range of clientele, including Retail Stores, Offices, Malls, Hospitality Sector, Warehouses, and more. This is a direct B2B sales position, exclusively focused on project-based selling, with no involvement in retail distribution. Key responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets, building, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, and consultants, identifying, and pursuing new business opportunities within the designated market, providing technical support and product knowledge to clients, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and client Satisfaction.
Skills
Must Haves:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering, along with 4-6 years of experience in projects-based selling (B2B). Experience in interacting with Projects Teams of clients, Architects, and Consultants is essential, with preference given to candidates with experience in the Lighting Industry. Key skills required include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and sales closing abilities, technical understanding of lighting products and solutions, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
