Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Diving Systems Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, testing, and repair of diving systems and ancillary equipment. This role also includes providing technical and operational support to the Diving Superintendent and Workshop Manager. The ideal candidate will have a technical qualification, relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, and preferably, experience with diving systems and offshore operations.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesTesting and Maintenance:
Perform regular testing, maintenance, and repair of diving systems and ancillary equipment.
Conduct fault finding and repair tasks to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
System Certification and Mobilization:
Assist with system certification, planned maintenance systems (PMS), and mobilization/demobilization activities.
Provide technical and operational support to the Diving Superintendent and Workshop Manager during these processes.
Spare Parts and Stock Management:
Identify and order suitable spare parts to ensure their availability when required.
Maintain mechanical spares and stock levels in the diving workshop.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Interface with other workshop disciplines as required to ensure seamless operations and support.
Health and Safety:
Take responsibility for personal occupational safety and health, as well as the safety of fellow employees and the public.
Maintain good standards of housekeeping in the working area.
Implement and actively enforce compliance with work processes to ensure the health and safety of employees and environmental protection.
Assist in implementing departmental processes to comply with legal, regulatory, and other standards and requirements.

Education & Professional Qualification:
Technical Qualification – Diploma or higher.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
Experience with diving systems is advantageous.
Offshore experience is advantageous.
Geographic Experience:
Not applicable.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Language Skills:
Proficient in spoken and written English.
