Project Overview:
This is an opportunity to work on a large new build airport project in Saudi Arabia, aiming to set a global benchmark for aviation experience and attract 120 million passengers by 2030.

Job Summary:
Coordinates the provision of management services from contract signature and award to completion of projects in various sectors. Provides comprehensive technical expertise on the administration of building contracts and the issuing of certificates.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses and assist formal execution by the appropriate parties.

  • Provide comprehensive technical expertise on administration of the terms of building contracts.

  • Actively measure and provide valuations of the work carried out and adjust variations in accordance with the terms of the contract to agree with the contractor.

  • Utilize expertise to ensure adequate cost control and reporting services during the contract.

  • Develop financial reports for the clients as required.

  • Manage all costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges.

  • Oversee and engage in the evaluation of claims for delay and additional costs made by the contractor and any nominated subcontractors/suppliers.

  • Provide expertise on the issuing of certificates of practical completion and ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed.

  • Provide expertise on the issuing of certificates of making good defects and final completion in accordance with any requirements relating to completion, submissions, and approvals.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement plans and identify key business improvements.

  • Develop and maintain a series of both internal and external relationships.

  • Manage and influence Key/Senior stakeholders.

  • Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Requirements:

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programs for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.

  • BS degree in Quantity Surveying.

  • 15 years of professional experience.

  • Discipline-specific professional registration preferred (PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS).
