Senior Software Project Manager

We are crafting a winning team that plays to where the ball is going and are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Software Project Manager to join our team and hold the responsibility for overseeing the end-to-end management of complex software development projects. As the Senior Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for risk management, resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance, while making data-driven decisions and promoting continuous improvement. You will work collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication, and adapting methodologies to deliver successful outcomes.

Deliverables:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including project planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, software developers, and QA engineers to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and critical path activities, and proactively implement strategies to mitigate and address them
• Track and report project progress, status, and key metrics to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication
• Conduct regular project meetings, facilitate discussions, and promote effective decision-making to ensure alignment and progress
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply relevant knowledge to project planning and execution
• Champion the effective use of project management, documentation, collaboration, and communication tools such as Notion and Slack
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, optimizing project management methodologies and tools

• Proficient in risk management and proactive problem-solving to ensure project success
• Efficient resource planning and allocation for optimized project performance
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, fostering positive relationships and clear project updates
• Budget management and data-driven decision-making to maximize project value within financial constraints
• Focus on quality assurance and testing to deliver high-quality software products
• Proactive change management to address evolving project requirements while maintaining timelines and objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of methodologies such as Kanban, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, and demonstrated ability to adapt and tailor approaches to project needs
• Proficiency with tools such as GitHub, Notion, Slack, or similar platforms
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams towards project success
• World-class organizational and time management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address project challenges effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards
• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus
