Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of Business Development and Market Intelligence in setting sales goals and targets for the team.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to sales representatives to improve their performance.
Monitor individual and team performance, and provide regular feedback to enhance results.
Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new sales team members.
Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Market Intelligence to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.
Identify market trends and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
Participate in sales meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in managing the sales pipeline, including lead generation, prospecting, and follow-up.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product, customer service) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of sales processes.
Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present sales reports to the Director of Business Development and Market Intelligence and senior management.
Maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients and accounts.
Address customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
Assist the sales team in resolving complex issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in creating sales presentations, proposals, and other sales materials.
Provide product knowledge and technical information to the sales team.
Collaborate with marketing to ensure sales collateral and messaging are accurate and aligned.
Conduct regular analysis of sales performance against targets and objectives.
Identify areas for improvement in processes, tools, and strategies.
Propose and implement initiatives to enhance sales team efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments.
Share relevant insights with the sales team to inform their strategies and approaches.
Complying with Kuwait Steel policies, HSE Management System, and Integrated Management System (ISO9001/14001/45001).
Supporting the execution of Health, Safety, and Environment plans in the workplace according to HSE standards, company and country rules, and legal regulations

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
