Job Description

Education/ Licensure/ Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Programming, Information Technology, or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information technology systems study, design, and programming. This includes responsibility for analyzing operational methods and developing computer programs to meet desired results. Also, at least four (4) years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience is essential. OR,

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science/Programming, Information Technology, or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of six (6) years of experience working with a Project Management Team on complex applications or resolution of complex information technology systems problems. Additionally, at least three (3) years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional certificate (PMP) or equivalent.

  • Proven professional experience as a Business Analyst (BA). IIBA® certification is desirable.

Requirements and Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and report on key performance indicators for project and process improvement initiatives.

  2. Drive efficiency realization across KKESH.

  3. Support initiatives driven by the KKESH strategic plan.

  4. Ability to prioritize and work on tight deadlines and manage team caseload.

  5. Interface with clients to understand functional and non-functional requirements/processes and establish objectives and key success factors.

  6. Manage day-to-day team operations within a specified scope, undertaking related work processes, and ensuring accuracy.

  7. Allocate work plans to the team to ensure work continuity and prepare necessary reports for decision-making and strategic planning purposes.

  8. Support team members and resolve routine queries to ensure work continuity.

  9. Liaise with other IT managers to build effective working relationships and identify synergies.

  10. Translate business requirements into system specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms to the project team using the BRD or CR Form.

  11. Revise requirements backlog complexity and priority to support planning.

  12. Present functional design alternatives and develop functional specifications documenting the desired outcome of system enhancement/development, considering the impact of changes on existing system specifications.

  13. Maintain an updated requirements traceability matrix.

  14. Coordinate with other business units to plan, negotiate, and interpret information on projects.

  15. Drive rigorous, weekly product releases across multiple, complex software products.

  16. Engage with customers and product managers to ensure that product delivery aligns with customer value creation.

  17. Take over existing projects and products.

  18. Collaborate with other IT teams to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.

  19. Use tools and methodologies to create powerful representations for products and demos, presenting ideas efficiently.

  20. Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to the development team.

  21. Ensure products or deliverables meet all quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc., requirements.

  22. Approve the final product before launch.

  23. Ability to work independently on projects or assignments without close supervision or detailed instructions to achieve intended results.

  24. Coach team members and guide them on a day-to-day basis, helping them scale up faster.

  25. Create Training Plans for on-boarding new team members.

  26. Improve Agile/Scrum best practices.

  27. Ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignments concurrently.

  28. Perform all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.

  29. Perform all other related duties as required or assigned.

Education:

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Programming, Information Technology, or equivalent.
