Job Description

As the SPDM Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing regional sales performance and ensuring the company achieves its sales goals and profitability across all channels. You'll lead a team, manage sales data and analysis, and implement effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Performance:

    • Manage and analyze sales data.

    • Systemize forecasting, sales, production, and logistics processes across teams.

    • Oversee yearly budget planning and adjustments.

    • Track sales performance across all branches and channels (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).

    • Develop and implement sales plans to drive forecast accuracy and minimize aging inventory.

    • Conduct regular driver store mapping and grading exercises to optimize store sell-out efficiency.

    • Analyze sales trends and seasonality by region, country, and customer to inform sales strategies.

  • Sales Policy & Governance:

    • Establish and manage dealer onboarding and offboarding policies.

    • Develop and enforce omnichannel (online & offline) price harmonization policies.

    • Continuously monitor dealer credit terms and outstanding receivables.

    • Conduct yearly reviews of trading terms for key dealers.

    • Foster alignment between sales, product, and marketing teams.

    • Uphold sales NDAs and prevent verbal commitments.

    • Manage return (goods) policies.

  • Trade Rewards & Benefits:

    • Ensure adherence to sales deduction policies across all channels.

    • Effectively manage trade programs through partner communication.

    • Ensure on-time processing and payment of trade payables (if applicable).

    • Track and revamp sales incentive schemes (if necessary) to motivate and drive internal sales.

    • Manage budgets for channel development expenditures (CDE).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (required).

  • Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in the Electrical & Home Appliances, FMCG, or Telco industry, with at least 3 recent years in sales or data management.

  • Strong data management, market insight, analytical, and advanced computer skills.

  • Numerically skilled with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for sales growth.

  • Proven people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels.

  • Advanced research and analytical skills (sales analysis, forecasting, sales finance, etc.) with strong business acumen.

  • Proficiency in office productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and any other analytics tools).
