Job Description

Join us as a Project Manager as part of our Oil & Gas division, and work on some of our largest, high-profile projects and niche innovations. You'll play a role in a team that has installed over 1,000 Oil & Gas projects around the world and is the go-to for difficult challenges in engineering, operations, life extension, and decommissioning, with activities across the globe. you'll keep yourself challenged alongside some of the top minds in the industry.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Assess the feasibility of projects in relation to technical and financial organization resources of the company.

  • Client Management to ensure continuity and repeat orders on a negotiated basis. Discuss further proposals with the client and possible future projects and partnerships where feasible.

  • Develop and implement plans of action to meet client’s needs. Developing the client relationship/ developing a partnership as to meet client’s needs but keep company out of risk and in a profitable position.

  • Take responsibility of any special engineering, design, location, or scale factors affecting the project, by monitoring projects and solving problems proactively.

  • Scrutinize contract documents and identify and interpret the implications of any special features. Ensuring the content of the contract is fully understood and eliminating any areas of risk by setting up procedures to do so.

  • Set up contractual documents for approval in accordance with procedures and authority of responsibility. Producing contractual documents for any variations, subcontractors, and prospects.

  • Validate Tenders and proposals and prepare report.

  • Establish budgets and controlling of such budgets to meet maximum profitability.

  • Lead Estimate development for variations.

  • Determine project team size and make up with contracts by developing an organogram, interview team members, employ and control of people.

  • Hold on site meetings to establish any deviations and problems and take action to solve such.

  • Ensure that all information is available to planners and a detailed plan is drawn up. Set up procedures to ensure information is channeled to the planning department and monitor such procedures and reports.

  • Authorize and agree to plan prior to construction together with a timetable for scheduling and completing the project.

  • Monitor performance against the program.

  • Identify and account for any deviations from the program and determine what corrective action is needed.

  • Responsible for anticipating or identifying all circumstances justifying special evaluations.

  • Ensure that all contract close - out arrangements are honored.

  • Liaise with and ensure co-ordination with other divisions and departments.

  • Authorize all requisitions and ensure that appropriate documentation is attached, and procedures are adhered to.

  • Keep abreast of technical and commercial developments in contracting and related fields.

  • Responsible for the development of his subordinates and their training to ensure maximum performance. by evaluating subordinates and ensuring their development by training them or sending them on training that is required.

  • Responsible for safe operations of all staff on projects.

  • Monitor and control subcontractors, consultants, and vendors by holding updated meetings regularly and monitoring progress and consulting on any changes.

  • Ensure that sub-contractors to be used by the project team are properly vetted and QA procedures are adhered to by sub-contractors.

  • Ensure that schedules and targets are met, and that on-site estimating is carried out correctly.

  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned from time to time.

  • Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements.

  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.

  • Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

  • Min 15 Years in EPC Projects in Oil & Gas (Minimum 5+ Years of Aramco Project Experience).

  • In depth understanding of the Oil & Gas industry.

  • Negotiating skills.

  • Experience and proficient in stage gate process.

  • Relationship Building.

  • Presentational skills.

  • Conversant with Project Management Software used in Oil & Gas Project
