Job Description

This role will help design and develop a modern approach to global leadership development at all levels in JM in an aligned, comprehensive, and cost effective manner. It will also consider the critical capabilities for delivering JM’s business strategy and provide frameworks, templates and strategic offerings to define, assess and develop those key capabilities.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design sustainable and well managed programs and processes by balancing simplicity and scalability, striking a balance between high-tech and high-touch.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to bring innovative approaches to the organization's training initiatives.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to define the leadership and developmental priorities and to develop, design and deliver effective training solutions and strategies to build and enhance leadership and managerial effectiveness based on current, emerging, and future business needs.

  • Integrate professional development initiatives throughout the performance management process to promote and enhance employee growth and development.

  • Build partnerships with external leadership development organizations and business partners to leverage better practices and resources.

  • Partner with HRBPs and Talent Management to identify competency gaps impacting their organization’s ability to deliver business results, understand what competencies will be needed in their ‘future state,’ and create a plan to address the gaps.

  • Oversee organizational coaching and assessment strategies

Requirements for the role:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness

  • Expertise in implementing and successfully measuring impact of enterprise-wide learning, and leadership development programs..

  • Stays abreast of best practices, emerging trends in learning and leadership development,

  • Organizational Awareness - Knows how the organization works and how to work effectively within it. Applies knowledge of services to learning solutions

  • Interacts with partners with an understanding of the business: the industry, the goals, the business plans, and the organizational structure

  • Uses appropriate consultative and assessment techniques to determine learning and performance needs within the business

  • Demonstrates personal ownership and accountability

  • Ability to challenge conventional ideas and accepted ways of doing things

  • Ability to establish credibility with senior leaders and managers

  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent level of both written and verbal communication

  • Driven to ensure accuracy and delivery to agreed timescales

  • Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders across wide groups of people

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in learning and development

  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for learning and development
