Job Description
The Commissioning Officer has the lead responsibility for the development and acceptance of robust design briefs, liaison with stakeholders and for the implementation of the commissioning process for projects on completion.
To assist the Capital and Transformation to provide the effective delivery of the non-building and engineering provisions within projects and schemes with particular emphasis on communication and liaison.
Skills
QS/Engineering background
• At least 3 years in Construction and/or Commissioning experience (ie. Handover / Transition)
• Competent with AutoCAD or similar
• Competent with Microsoft Projects
• Excellent communication and negotiating skill
• IT skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• The ability to pay attention to detail.
• Good organizational and project management skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
• Good level of fitness and a head for heights.
• The ability to meet targets
